|Attorney Wade Harrison Elected as N.C. Delegate to AAML|
BURLINGTON, N.C. – Wishart Norris Henninger & Pittman attorney James Wade Harrison has been elected North Carolina’s Chapter Delegate to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers for a three-year term beginning January 2012. The AAML is a national organization promoting professionalism and excellence in all facets of the field of family law. There are almost 1600 members in 50 states. Harrison is also a past AAML N.C. chapter president.
As an Equity Member and Managing Member of WNHP’s Burlington office, Harrison’s area of focus is family law and he leads that practice group. Among his honors are inclusions since 2006 in both Woodward/White’s The “Best Lawyers in America” and “North Carolina Super Lawyers” in the practice area of family law and North Carolina Bar Association Citizen Lawyer. He has served in a variety of professional and community leadership roles at the state and local levels. He earned his B.A. in Political Science and J.D. from the University of North Carolina.
