Dunklin Of Wishart Norris Joins Real Estate Commission Advisory Group Print E-mail

CHARLOTTE – Garth K. Dunklin, a real estate attorney in the Charlotte office of Wishart Norris Henninger & Pittman, has been appointed to an advisory committee of the NC Real Estate Commission.

Dunklin was appointed to the Incentive Disclosure Implementation Advisory Committee at the NC Real Estate Commission’s March meeting in Winston-Salem. The committee will hold its first meeting in June in Raleigh and will continue to meet as necessary.

The committee members will evaluate the compensation disclosure rule and how it is applied in dual agency and other transactions.

Dunklin, who is a REALTOR ®, practices real estate law and offers real estate, land use and development counseling, as well as acquisition financing and representation of commercial real estate developers, users and investors. He also works in administrative and regulatory compliance, risk management and licensing matters for real estate brokerage and development companies.

With the Charlotte office of Wishart Norris since 2001, Dunklin also practices business law.

Dunklin authored the Commercial Real Estate chapter of the NC Real Estate Manual for the NC Real Estate Commission. He also handles legal and disciplinary matters before the NC Real Estate Commission.

He was a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science in 1986 and his law degree in 1988.
