Five Wishart Norris Attorneys In Charlotte Make List Of ‘Super Lawyers’ Print E-mail

CHARLOTTE – Five attorneys in the Charlotte office of Wishart Norris Henninger & Pittman recently were selected for inclusion in “Super Lawyers 2010” in their fields of practice.

The five and their practice areas are founding member Robert B. Norris, closely held business; Richard A. Bigger Jr. and Joseph B. Henninger Jr., estate planning and probate; Garth K. Dunklin, real estate; and Steve C. Horowitz, tax.

Super Lawyers selects outstanding attorneys in more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5 percent of the lawyers in North Carolina are selected. The listings are published in a special supplement to leading newspapers and magazines.

Norris also practices in business owner estate planning, mergers and acquisitions, and business exit planning.

He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Cum Laude from Davidson College in 1972 with a bachelor’s in Economics. He earned a master’s in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1976.

Bigger also practices in estate administration. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia.

Henninger also practices in asset protection, business, elder law, estate administration, special needs/disability and taxation and personal planning.

A Morehead Scholar, Henninger got a bachelor’s in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1972 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Seattle in 1978.

Dunklin also practices in business and land use/development consulting. He obtained his undergraduate and Law degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar.

Horowitz also practices in business, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning and estate administration. He received his bachelor’s in Accounting as well as his Law degree from the University of Florida. He holds a master’s in Taxation from New York University.

All five have been named to Super Lawyers in at least one previous year.
