Based on seniority and performance, Wishart Norris Henninger & Pittman attorneys can progress through various levels: Associate, Member and Equity Member. In addition, a “Senior Attorney” status has been created for those with different objectives and individual circumstances who choose not to pursue the membership track.
Associates invited to join the Wishart Norris Henninger & Pittman legal team are expected to devote their first years to learning the practice of law and to do the best they can for our clients. While there will be client contact and direct case responsibility, these contacts and responsibilities are structured so that they allow the Associate to grow as an attorney without detracting from the learning process or the client service.
Every associate will be paired with a mentor -- a Member of the firm serving as their supervising attorney. This member will provide reviews and feedback on both a periodic and annual basis. Our clients, this firm and our associates grow together and benefit collectively when we work to better every person on our team.
As the Associate progresses, she is given more case responsibility and client contact. An Associate is eligible for member status after six years of legal experience, at least one of which must be with Wishart Norris Henninger & Pittman.
